Common questions
- What counts as a "vehicle"?
- Any truck, lorry, or powered vehicle you operate under your O licence. Trailers are not counted as vehicles.
- What's the difference between an owned trailer and an external trailer?
- Owned (internal) trailers are assets on your fleet — up to 2 slots per vehicle are included. External trailers are subcontracted or visiting trailers that you don't own but still need to do safety checks on. These are unlimited and always free.
- What's the difference between employed and agency drivers?
- Directly employed drivers use up to 3 slots per vehicle. Agency and temporary drivers — including subbies and agency staff supplied by a third party — are always unlimited and never charged for.
- What if I add more vehicles mid-month?
- Billing is pro-rated automatically via Stripe. You only pay for the days you had each vehicle on the subscription.
- Is there a minimum commitment?
- No. HauliK is month-to-month with no minimum contract. Cancel any time — you keep access until the end of the billing period.
